The PNC is pleased to announce the call of the Rev. Doug Forsberg as the next installed pastor of Media Presbyterian Church. It is the unanimous consensus of the PNC that Doug is the person God has called to join us as we worship, grow, and serve together, discerning where God’s Holy Spirit will lead us in the months and years to come. We hope that each encounter you have with Doug will lead to you appreciating him more, as was the case with all 7 of us who heartily believe Doug is the person God has called as our next pastor.

Please join us in praying for this final stage in our transition journey and that we would be open to the winds of the Holy Spirit as we continue our faith journey together.

Now that we have called a new pastor, we pray that as a church we will not breathe a sigh of relief and sit back, waiting for things to “return to normal.” Rather, as we open our hearts to Doug & Amy and this new chapter of our church’s story, let us recall the image of our church as God's sailing ship. Let us take our places ready to work and raise our sails in trust, praying that the Holy Spirit will fill them as God takes us in new directions. May we be driven by this divine wind, energizing and empowering us to live into our mission that includes worshiping, growing, and serving – together.
